The Hazardous Area Classification study determines the extent of hazardous areas around equipment handling or storing flammable fluids and combustible dusts. The classification is done in terms of Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2, and Division 1 and Division 2. The aim is to minimize the risk of ignition by reducing the likelihood of a flammable atmosphere encountering an ignition source.

The Hazardous area classification is carried out as per Reference STD & given methodology.
